Pär Grindvik - Electronic Groove Podcast 134

The name, Par Grindvik, needs little introduction in the world of Techno. A key member in the Swedish scene for the last 20 years, he's helped the shape the world of Techno as we know it. After opening a record store (Illegal Stockholm) he went on to set up his own label, Stockholm Ltd and helped develop rising artists from Sweden. This has lead him on to becoming a driving force in one of the most influential labels around, Adam Beyers' Drumcode.

Mark Broom - Lost Souls @ Public Life Videos (8th May 10)

Saturday night saw another awesome Lost Souls party down at Public Life. After the massive success of our February Party with UK Techno legend, James Ruskin, we thought we'd keep that trend going by enlisting the services of another UK Techno legend in the shape of Mark Broom.

Mr Broom was on fine form and had the toilet rammed until the very last beats. Here's some videos for those of you that missed it.

Lost Souls Pres Mark Broom @ Public Life (8th May 10)

Lost Souls, Public Life and Techno are 3 institutions that go together very very well. As our last party, with James Ruskin, proved in February. We rammed the bog full of techno lovers to witness Ruskin's immense headline set, and Saturday evening we're planning to do it all over again.

This time we're bringing in another UK techno giant, Mark Broom. Over the years he's steadily built up a reputation for solid productions and outstanding dj sets which have seen him release on some of techno's most respected labels and played to some of the best dancefloors across the globe.

Alongside Mr Broom will be a selection of Lost Souls finest residents, providing you with some quality b2b sets. Kicking off the party will be Antony Difrancesco and Lee Hume serving up some deep groovy vibes before Chris Stanford and myself take things up a notch in preparation for Broom to hit the famous Public Life decks!

Lost Souls Timewarp Pre Party Video

What an amazing weekend we had in Mannheim and it all started off with our pre party at Hafenstrand. Was great to see so many up for it faces of the people who travelled all the way over from London for the spectacle that is Timewarp! DJs Faster, Rossko, Antony Difrancesco, Ryan Stylus, Tonic DJs, Marvin Hinkel and myself all played our part in making this one of the best pre parties i've had the pleasure to be part of! And those of you that joined us, i'm sure you'll agree

Looking for somewhere to get yourself warmed up for the mighty Timewarp Festival?

Well fear not as Lost Souls are fulfilling all your pre party needs. We're ferrying hundreds of clubbers across Europe in a yearly pilgrimage to Mannheim. On board the planes and buses are a collection of some of London's best djs armed with bags filled to burst with great music.

Headlining the event is Airdrop Recordings incredibly talented Romanian, Faster. I was lucky enough to catch his set at the recent Cerca Trova party and i was more than impressed with this guys ample skills. The rest of the line up goes as follows

After giving Egg it's best ever line up and best ever night back in June, Always Fridays have enlisted the services of Lost Souls, this time in conjunction with dontstayin.com to host the official Tiesto In The Park After Party. And too keep the amazing line ups rolling, headlining will be none other than Cocoon's Dominik Eulberg.
