Halloween Weekend Clubbing Roundup: London, Berlin, Roma, Antwerp, Barcelona, Copenhagen, New York, Taipei & Sydney

It's a big weekend of clubbing as the freaks come out to celebrate halloween in true techno style. So instead of waffling, we'll get straight to the events. There's plenty to get through so we'll keep most of them short and sweet.

London

We begin on Friday night in London as Broken & Uneven's Hydra series continues as they welcome online record store Bleep.com to launch their new project, BLPGRN001, the first in a run of 12"s in collaboration with design collective Give Up Art and photographer Shaun Bloodworth.

Provide the music for the night's festivities will be a star studded line up consisting of Blawan, Lucy, Pangaea, Objekt, Kowton and the first UK live show from, the duo of Analogue Cops and Steffi, Third Side.

The party will be held in Hackney Wick at the Ican Studios and tickets are available from Resident Advisor

Saturday at fabric Room 2 hosts the official launch party of their latest cd, fabric 66 mixed by Ben Klock. The Berghain resident is joined by a couple of names that you'll see in the compilation CDs tracklisting in the shape of Truncate and Wincent Kunth.

You can read all about the CD and order your own copy from the fabric website where you can also purchase your Tickets. As part of the package you can get a discount when you order your CD and ticket together.

Berlin

It's tonight, and already started, but we couldn't do this post without giving it a mention. We're gutted we're not there, but if you're looking for something to do in Berlin tonight, this has to be your only destination.

Tresor, Sonic Groove Records and Fullpanda Records combine in Tresor's Globus room to bring you Timewise. Featuring live sets from Biosphere and Robert Henke and topping it off with an ambient DJ set from Adam X and Dasha Rush.

Once the show has finished the fun's not over, as Adam and Dasha take you down to Tresor's legendary basement for what's bound to be an epic after party. Full event info can be found on the Facebook Event Page

We stay at Tresor from Friday night's shenanigans as Tuna Park puts on an altogether international affair of great interest to us here at SDD. Two SDD Podcasters in Singapore's Xhin and Argentina's Pfirter and past SDD guest, Germany's Milton Bradley.

Full event info on Resident Advisor

We don't need to tell you that quality that can be found at Berghain's in house Saturday event, Klubnacht, so we'll let the line up talk for itself!

Robert Hood, Karenn (Blawan & Pariah), Obtane, Giorgio Gigli, Len Faki, Fiedel and Oliver Deutschmann. If you need more convincing, head over to Resident Advisor to see what's happening in the rest of the club.

Roma

Roma welcomes two of the UKs finest talents as James Ruskin and Shifted join Suprvsion vs Animatek  in taking over the Goa Club for Resistance Is Techno. The Facebook Event Page holds all you need to know

Antwerp

Hertz celebrate their 2 year anniversary in Antwerp's Petrol Club with two more of the UK finest talents, Luke Slater and Surgeon. Full info and tickets on the Petrol Website.

Barcelona

PoleGroup take over Barcelona's BeCool venue and host Peter Van Hoesen, Exium and Reeko. Doors open at 1am and entrance is 10 euros.

Copenhagen

On Friday night at Culture Box you'll witness a live set from legendary techno duo, Hardfloor. Full info on Facebook

New York

In New York on Friday it's another birthday as US party throwers, Oktave, turn three. Providing the celebratory music will be Brendon Moeller, Jeff Derringer and Max_M. Full event info on the Oktave website

Taipei

Smoke Machine host their 20th Organik party in conjunction with Field Records headed up by Delta Funktionen. Full info on Resident Advisor.

Sydney

For our last destination on our worldwide tour we land down under, in Sydney to be more precise, and after a weekend spent with the wonderful Dutch people, it would be wrong not to give a mention to one of their very best techno exports, Steve Rachmad. Disconnected Audio and Shrug present his show that's inspired by his recent album 'Secret Life Of Machines'.

Tickets available through Resident Advisor

B@TV pres Brendon Moeller & Steve Rachmad (28th Apr 12)

After a couple of weeks off in sunny South Africa, we're back home in London, so we should really do a new blog post. With plenty of stuff coming up we start off again with something a little bit different.

We begin with something a little bit different. Since it's launch a few years back, they have broadcasted live club events over the internet from venues all over the world. On Saturday they move no further than their own office to bring you an excellent techno showcase.

Ahead of their performances in Room 2 at fabric on Saturday night, Brendon Moeller & Steve Rachmad will be spending their Saturday afternoon in Soho at the B@TV offices to play live over the virtual airwaves. Joining them will be UK rising star, Roberto, and London based Resurgence.

The set times for the day is as follows

15:00 - 16:00: Resurgence
16:00 - 17:00: Roberto
17:00 - 18:00: Steve Rachmad
18:00 - 19:00: Brendon Moeller

If you want to be in the studio watching it all unfold, you can send your names to guestlist@be-at.tv. Or  if you can be there in person you can watch from the comfort of your on home by going to their website.

As we said this is the unofficial fabric pre party, but if you want to be in the famous Farringdon basement metropolis for the night you can head over to Resident Advisor for full info and tickets.

Delsin Records @ fabric (20th Aug 11)

It wasn't difficult selecting our pick of the weekends events today. There is really only one event worth worrying about, fabric, and another first class line up in Room 2. The Amsterdam based label will be making the short trip across the English Channel and bringing with them 4 acts from their superb artist roster, in Brendon Moeller, Mike Dehnert, Delta Funktionen and Newworldaquarium.

It's a simple decision of where to go tomorrow night but with Stacey Pullen, Levon Vincent and Bruno Pronsato in Room 1, it's going to be difficult to choose where to be once you're inside the club, but fabric have really pulled it out the bag for what's supposed to be one of the worst weekends of the year for business. And because of that reason fabric is reward it's faithful by making it free for all fabricfirst members (Of which we are). You can't say fairer than that!

Tickets are still on sale on the Resident Advisor Event Page and for everything else fabric related head over to the fabric website. Delsin can be found on Facebook and Twitter. Also for a little insight into the minds of Delta Funktionen and Newworldaquarium check out this video interview that Plastic Dreams did with them earlier on in the summer at this years Sonar festival

Ed Davenport & Oliver Deutschmann - Trump (Brendon Moeller Appliance) [Falkplatz]

Falkplatz is a relatively new label. Based in Berlin and setup by Oliver Deutschmann with a mission for no nonsense house and techno. The first release came from Deutschmann himself, the 2nd from Ed Davenport and for the 3rd release the two of them have joined forces.

Thankfully Brendon was kind enough to upload his remix to soundcloud. Heavy bassline with dubbed out shuffles make this one release you're going to want to own.

The release will be out in a few weeks time from all the usual outlets

Brendon Moeller - From My Hood To Yours - The Realm DJ Mix

I can think of a lot worse things to arrive at work too than a mix from Brendon Moeller, infact i'd say that's one of the finer things in life! The American, who's living in Europe over the summer, has been in fine form recently with great releases as himself and The Ecologist. We've got a remix he did for us coming out soon on Lost Souls recordings that we're all very excited about. Not to mention his amazing live set at fabric last month.

But with this Brendon flexes his dj muscles to provide 50 mins of what he classes as ' Dub, Beats & Psyhcedelic Hip Hop'
