Colony & Corsica Studios Present Prologue Label Night (23rd Jun 12)

Here at SDD, we're big fans of Prologue, so as you can imagine we were hugely excited (and still are) when we heard that Colony was teaming up with Corsica Studios to host the UK's first Prologue Label Night.

As you can see from the flyer, the line up is first class, across both rooms. Room 1 is all about Prologue and Donato Dozzy will be headlining with a 3 hour DJ set. There will be UK debuts for Voices From The Lake and Slash Dot Dash Podcast contributors, Cassegrain, and finally as part of his Inner State Album Tour, Claudio PRC.

Colony take charge of Room 2 with Sigha, Forward Strategy Group and Isodyne all joining the Colony Residents Tengui and MB & CB.

Tickets for the event are on sale now. You can get yours via the Resident Advisor Event Page. For more info on Prologue head over to their Facebook Fan Page where you can get the scoop on all the upcoming releases and general news about their artists.

Competition: Win a copy of Forward Strategy Group's debut album 'Labour Division'

It's competition time again and we've teamed up with our friends at Perc Trax to give you the chance to get your hands on one of three CD copies of the debut album from Forward Strategy Group entitled 'Labour Division'.

After a couple of EPs on the label, an album was the next logical step. Allowing them to focus less on their traditional industrial techno sounds and expand to encompass semi-broken beats and post punk influences.

To get your hands on one of the three copies, all you need to do is answer this simple question.

What Perc Trax EP did Forward Strategy Group provide a remix for in 2010?

To enter the competition please send your answer to info@slashdotdash.biz with the subject title 'Forward Strategy Group Competition'. All entries must be received by 5pm on Thursday 24th May and the winners will be drawn at random and contacted by e-mail.

The album will be in the shops on the 28th May. To find out more about Forward Strategy Group, head over to their Facebook Fan Page

Tt+ pres Forward Strategy Group @ On The Rocks (8th Apr 12)

We've got plenty of events to tell you about over the Easter Weekend and here is the first of them. Techno Therapy launch Tt+ and welcome the return of Forward Strategy Group. They last appeared for Techno Therapy at the launch of Perc's 'Wicker & Steel' album.

Joining FSG will be Birmingham's first lady of techno Rebekah as well as our boss, XI, alongside some unannounced London DJs. The venue has been announced though. It's 'On The Rocks' which is opposite Basing House.

Expect some awesome daytime techno on the outdoor terrace, before continuing the carnage inside, as the venue opens it's doors for the first time since it's full refurbishment. Tickets are available on Resident Advisor

Mix Of The Day: Forward Strategy Group - CLR Podcast 111

It's been a while since a CLR Podcast has made it into our MOTD list so it's only right that it makes its return with something a little bit special. Hailing from Glasgow, Al Matthews and Patrick Walker, aka Forward Strategy Group, have put together a half DJ / half Live set comprising of their own productions, loops, re edits and plenty of unreleased material to display the excellent work they've been doing on one of our favourite labels, Perc Trax.

Forward Strategy Group - Combat Code EP [Perc Trax]

Here's the first samples of the new Perc Trax release by Forward Strategy Group with a remix from Donor & Truss.

3 quality no nonsense techno tracks as we've come to expect from PT. Code #01 features relentless highs with a thumping kick underneath. Code #02 is more dubby than #o1 and the Donor & Truss remix is slightly lighter with a haunting stab circling it's way throughout the track.

But don't take my word for it, check out the samples here
