Skudge - First Observation EP [Echocord Colour 016]

The First Observation EP is the first release on our Echocord Colour by the Swedish production duo, Skudge. The release features two new tracks, 'Surplus' and 'Void' and a remix of 'Void' by Conforce.

Both tracks showcase that great dub techno style that Echocord is so famous for, where as the Conforce mix takes things into a more stripped down direction with heavy sub bass mixed in with distorted stabs and dreamy synth lines. Skudge (live) & Scuba Vs. SCB @ fabric (9th Apr 11)

This weekends recommendation takes in some fabric room 2 action. It's becoming a bit of a London mecca for techno of late with performances from Sandwell District, Ben Klock, DVS1 and now this.

Skudge made their first London appearance at Mode:Play last October and have since took in the sites of Cable and now it's time for them to take on the legendary fabric soundsystem.

Neither Scuba or his SCB moniker will need any introduction to you all. A pioneer in the UK dubstep and techno scene. His Berlin night Sub:stance is into it's 3rd year at Berghain / Panoramabar. Quality is guaranteed.
